StyleTech client NHS Hull (formerly known as Hull Teaching Primary Care Trust) which serves the primary health needs of some 250,000 people living in the city of Hull.
StyleTech developed 'smokesnojoke' website, an interactive educational website communicating information on the issues surrounding smoking in an innovative and engaging way. The website targeted young people with age appropriate information and imagery. It also has a dedicated parents’ information area and a secure central resource area for teachers providing lesson plans and downloadable teaching resources.
The SID Award for technology focussed on the contribution made by technology-based projects to improving frontline NHS care. A Humber Alliance on Tobacco Co-ordinator said: “The StyleTech team have a unique ability to adapt their expertise to any given situation and have exceeded my expectations in final project delivery on every occasion. Their innovative approach and ability to adapt and deliver has been demonstrated on many occasions with enthusiasm, commitment and expertise and a can do / will do approach to everything."
