Forensic Care, Improving Workflow Through Bespoke Software

The StyleTech Solutions team were awarded a prestigious contract by a Secure and Specialist Mental Health Commissioning group, one of many bespoke software developments and business applications undertaken by StyleTech Solutions on behalf of NHS organisations. The contract was to design and develop a bespoke software application known as the Forensic Care Management System (FCMS) for the Forensic Secure Services Team. Subsequently, the application has integrated seamlessly into the core infrastructure of the Forensic Care team.

The FCMS provides Case Management Teams with the ability to securely and accurately record, access and administer limitless volumes of valuable patient data, accompanied by flexible reporting procedures. The FCMS system was initially developed to operate within the IT infrastructure of an organisation with NHS Foundation Trust status. The decision to design a bespoke software application was due to the unique data management requirements of the Forensic Care Team.

Since launch of the bespoke software application, the team have seen a significant increase in utilisation and access requests from other NHS Trusts and Mental Health Departments across the length and breadth of the UK.
